News back about my cousin: he’s broken just about every bone in his body.
They did surgery on his right leg today, including a pole in his femur and reconstructing the entirety of the rest of it. So far, his left foot is amputated, with them discussing taking it from the knee down because of the infections. Both of his arms, including his elbows are broken. His shoulders are broken. His 3rd and 4th vertebras are cracked, and they will be doing surgery (hopefully) in two weeks. He’s possibly or probably a quadriplegic due to the spinal injuries. Several broken ribs. He has multiple fractures in his skull. He has brain injuries, but they’re not sure the full extent. He is on a ventilator, which they’re hoping to take him off of soon so that his body doesn’t forget to breathe, but they’re not even sure if he CAN breathe.
More of your well wishes, please. He needs everything he can get. He’s only 26 years old.
